1. Marketplace role
AutoMechanics, operated by YN Transport LLC, provides technology that connects customers with independent mechanics. AutoMechanics does not itself perform repairs and does not employ or supervise mechanics.
2. Customer responsibilities
Customers must provide accurate vehicle and service information, review mechanic quotes, follow safety rules, pay required charges, and use the platform lawfully.
3. Mechanic responsibilities
Mechanics operate independently and are responsible for their own taxes, licenses, tools, transportation, insurance, safety, legal compliance, workmanship, diagnosis, parts, and damages they cause.
4. Quotes and pricing
AI price guidance is an estimate only. Final pricing depends on diagnosis, parts, labor, location, and the mechanic's accepted quote.
5. Payments and platform fees
Customers may be charged the mechanic's quote, applicable platform fees, taxes, and disclosed processing-related charges. Payment and payout timing may depend on job status, completion confirmation, disputes, and payment-provider rules.
6. Job records
Messages, photos, videos, quotes, location events, and status changes may be retained as part of the job record.
7. Disputes
Payments or payouts may be held while a dispute is reviewed. Users agree to provide relevant information and documentation.
8. Prohibited conduct
Fraud, harassment, threats, discrimination, unsafe conduct, false credentials, illegal activity, and misuse of the platform are prohibited.
9. Suspension
Accounts may be restricted or removed for safety concerns, fraud, repeated complaints, legal risk, or violations of these terms.
10. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the marketplace is provided without guarantees about availability, mechanic performance, diagnosis, repair quality, timing, or outcomes.
